The experience I went through to make an English assignment
A Little Story of My Experience When Doing English Assignments
Here I will tell about the experience I have gone through in the process of making English assignments. In this twelfth grade, the English material I got was about offering service and service learning. There are also Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs.
Two weeks ago I followed Zoom for English subjects. When I join I can find out who my new English teacher is. He introduced himself and started to explain what material would be studied in the twelfth grade in semester 1. My friends explained the explanation carefully. The zoom lasts about 45 minutes. After zooming in, my friends and I were given the task of summarizing the SDGs videos, Service Learning, and Offering services. The task is not difficult and I can finish it quickly. My teacher also asked to make a map of where I live based on latitude and longitude. For that I use the UTM Geo Map application. When I have finished finding the latitude and longitude where I live, I send it to the English group on WhatsApp.
On July 22 at 10 am, another zoom was held for learning English. My friends and I followed it and listened to what my teacher explained. He explained about mind mapping. We were all asked to download the application first, then form groups to work on the next task. We are also asked to create a blog for the delivery of assignments to be given.
After zooming in, I formed a group with my friends, namely Della, Nabila, and Chofifah. There are 4 people in 1 group. And we are free to choose anyone to make the group, the most important thing is one class and no different classes. After the group was formed, my friend and I created a group on WhatsApp to discuss the mind mapping assignment given by my English teacher. Before that we determine the group leader. After the group leader is determined, we must send the group leader's email to the English teacher. And it's time for the discussion to begin.
In the afternoon my group and I had a discussion. At first we all did not understand what the purpose of the task was. But then we all try to help each other understand what to do. It turns out that we are asked to choose the problems that occur in the environment around where we live during this pandemic. After finding what the problem is we are asked to make a plan and provide help or solutions to the problem. My group identified health and well-being as the problem. What was discussed was awareness in complying with 3M prokes (Wearing masks, Washing hands, Staying away from crowds) during the current pandemic. The first we begin to analyze the problem, look for the consequences of the problem and the last one establishes a solution to the problem. After setting all that, the next thing to do is write it down in mind mapping. After the mind mapping is completed, all you have to do is send the results to Google Classroom in English. Actually we have a discussion with a lot of jokes, so it's not boring and confusing. We work together to complete the task, and I like the personality of all of them, who are never late in participating in discussions, always patient in dealing with me who always ask questions, they are also on time, so that the tasks we do can be completed quickly.
After a few days, my group's mind mapping task finally got a grade. But there is a slight error and we are asked to correct it. On the other hand, there is a new English assignment. The task is to carry out the practice of the problem in the neighborhood around the place of residence. For practice, I choose to distribute or give masks to people who do not comply with the protocol for wearing masks when they want to leave the house. I also gave masks to small children and told them to always wear masks when they want to leave the house, even though they are still small but we as adults who have understood about the current pandemic, it doesn't hurt to give them a little understanding. I did this with the process of taking photos to be used as documentation of my assignment. After practicing it and documenting the photos, the last step is to write and put the documentation on my blog, for my English teacher to see. Honestly, this is my first experience to write something on a blog because I've never done it before. Hopefully the work that I do gets a satisfactory score. I really hope that.
This is a photo documentation as proof that I have done the practice.

BalasHapusThis is a good action and needs to be done by teenagers like us to provide information or make people aware who still rarely wear masks when leaving the house. Lots
Children who play with their friends outside the house and mothers who go out on motorbikes do not wear masks because they don't really care about the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

BalasHapusa very helpful thing, because many people if they go out even though they are not far away they don't use masks, even though it is very important for everyone to avoid the virus that spreads, and small children who don't understand must also be accustomed to wearing masks so that they are also protected from the virus that spreads dangerous.

BalasHapusI think what you have done is right, even very useful for those of us who read. I hope everyone who reads your blog will be inspired to do the same! Thank you for inspiring!
